Dead Cross/Death Cross

Investopedia explains Death Cross
What Does Death Cross Mean?
A crossover resulting from a security's long-term moving average breaking above its short-term moving average or support level.

Finance Glossary explains Death Cross

In technical analysis, what happens when the short moving average price of a stock (say, its 20-day moving average) falls below a longer moving average (say, its 50-day average). For chartists, this cross is a sign that sentiment in the market might have turned against the stock, especially if up to that point the two moving averages have been moving roughly in parallel.

Some analyst use 20MA to 50MA, some use 50MA to 100MA, 50MA to 200MA, all has happened in our FBMKLCI, and you can see from the chart every time it happens, there is a drop the day after and for a few more days. So, no matter which MA you use , there is no argument, we are in a very BEARISH MODE ! And there again, when there is a sunset, will the SUNRISE be coming soon or the BULL has been bash up quite bad by the BEAR, he really needs time to recover from his injury :) . Whether our BEAR has enough of the BULL, it really depend very much the 1444 and the 1424 can hold or not. Hmmm, lets see our big boys want to hold it or let our CI fall another 6.5%, then this will add up to around 16% which historically quite a number of time, there will be a significant rebound. Let see, how it plays out to be, TIME WILL TELL ! At the mean time, I'm not going into the market for momentum play (trading) except maybe doing my value investing (long term investment) using dollar cost averaging strategy.
